Canada is leaving the Kyoto Protocol, it seems to be ALL about money!

Canada is leaving the Kyoto Protocol. Can you believe it? Canada has always been portrayed as an environmentally friendly country. If the First Nation have left any influence on the country, it has been the love for and communion with Nature. I think the First Nations will be very sad today.

I think it's a very strange decision, because Canada almost always it's been a sensible country.

Now, what can we expect of others countries less friend of environment.

The word is changing, but in the wrong direction.

It's dreadful the withdrawal of Canada from failing to meet targets set by Kyoto Protocol.
Apparently, the Canadian Government should pay 14 millions dollars in penalties and to commit itself to remove ALL vehicles from the road. How can that be??. This country must reduce greenhouse gas emissions to avoid health risks, increasing global warming and climate change. Actually, it's a worrying prospect. As an example the number of canadian children with asthma is increasing due to worsering air pollution.
I didn't know that the problem was so apalling. I don't understand about political matters but I'm surprised that strict measures haven't been taken before reaching the point of this situation.
